for those who are following the story, Joss loves school. She's already learning letters' different sounds. She's making friends, too. There is this little girl named Charlette that she plays with a lot. Theris this other little bitch while likes to hold your hand and walk around. But them she finds someone new and tells you she doesn't want to play with you anymore. I don't mike her too much. Joss gets upset by that. She'll figure it out.

Overall, she's getting great reports from her teachers. I'm very proud of her.

I assure you that this is MUCH harder on me than it is on her.

So, the Florida legislators just passed a bill that allows people with concealled weapons permits to carry their guns to work and in stores. Now, I have a gun and believe that people have a right to protect their homes and family. But at what point does it go to far? Now, I need to worry about someone who may or may not be intelligent packing heat in the presence of my daughter. What about a business-owner's right to keep guns out of his or her store? What do we need to protect ourselves from that we need a gun on us at all time? We really do have a culture of fear, don't we? We are so conditioned to be scared. Well, now I am scared. Of the idiot standing next to me who can't get extra fries, so he starts blasting.

Great. Just eff-ing great.

Feel free to disagree with me and post your thoughts. I'm open to dialogue.

» Story Time
My cell phone is on right now because the lady who runs story time said, "moms, turn your cell phones off." There are two dads here. How eff-ing hard is it to say "parents"? Its one more eff-ing syllable.

Dads dont count for shit in America. I understand that a lot of dads suck, but do they suck because they are dads or because they are just generally shifty people? We shouldn't assume that dads are lousy just because hey ate male. That really makes me mad.

Ok the totally opposite end of the spectrum, I finished the first tier of expert on Guitar Hero 3 this morning. Only three stars, but hell, its expert level. I've gone back on Hard and five started 12 or 13 of the songs, including Cult of Personality. Not too bad there.

Hi, Angela. This post was for you.

Hello to the nether regions. I'm at the mall watching Jocelyn play in the play area. Its odd being the only dad around. You would think that would make me more popular. I guess the women figure that a damn man got them into this situation...

Some little girl just got pounched on. It is the play area after all. The victim's mother is staring daggers at the jumper's mother. All the moms that I an with are like, "get over it! I hate women like that!" its hysterical. Mom fight!!!! I put $20 on the jumper's mom. She weighs a good 220. Victim's mom is like a buck eight tops. It should be a one sided beatdown. UCF my ass. Play area moms rule!

» Somethings happening here...
Watching the news, I am noticing a trend. With the recession, and the huge amount of money being sent over seas, there have been huge budget cuts across the country.

But think about what has been cut.

Education, police, and fire departments are being drastically reduces. Schools are considering a 4 day week, reducing the amount of education by potentially 20%. This creates a less competent workforce, making us less competent, and then we are less prepared to compete on a global level.

Fewer police are on the streets in a time when people are more desperate, and therefore, more likely to commit crimes. Fewer firefighters are available to help us in our times of need.

We are still funding prisons, though. There is always that.

We need to think about what is going on, and how things are being run. We need to stop just accepting everything that is handed to us. Elected officials need to change, or they need to go.

Did you know that you can actually see your congressman in his or her office? You can walk right on in there and chat them up. You should totally try it.

Jocelyn loves to bowl. She gets excited because she gets to play the same game as the adults. I love watching her watch the ball. So here it is to share with you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
